These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BotOrient, operated by Onae Group ("BotOrient," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using BotOrient in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using BotOrient on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
BotOrient is an AI-powered software platform that generates robot orientation packages — including workflow plans, staff training scripts, safety protocols, maintenance schedules, ROI projections, deployment checklists, and machine-readable behavioral rules — for businesses operating service robots. The platform also provides a Robot API endpoint that robot software can call at startup to retrieve configuration and behavioral rules.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance.
You must create an account to use BotOrient. You agree to:
Accounts are for single organizations. You may not share account access across unaffiliated organizations unless you are on an Enterprise plan with explicit written permission.
BotOrient offers paid subscription plans (Starter, Pro, Fleet, Enterprise). Plan features and limits are as described on our pricing page at the time of purchase and may be updated with 30 days notice. Access to the platform requires an active paid subscription.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All fees are in US dollars and are non-refundable except as required by law or as described below.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@botorient.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to the service through the end of the period you have paid for.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will review your case. Government and enterprise customers may negotiate refund terms as part of their contract.
Each plan includes a defined number of orientation package generations per billing period. If you reach your limit before your period resets, you will not be able to generate additional packages until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade your plan.
You agree not to use BotOrient to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without notice or refund.
BotOrient uses artificial intelligence to generate orientation packages, behavioral rules, and deployment documentation. You acknowledge and agree that:
You own the orientation package content generated for your account. You grant BotOrient a limited license to store and serve that content through your Robot API endpoint on your behalf.
The Robot API endpoint allows robot software to retrieve your business configuration and behavioral rules. You are responsible for securing your API keys. Do not expose API keys in client-side code or public repositories. BotOrient is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised API keys. If a key is compromised, contact us immediately to rotate it.
The Robot API is provided as a configuration delivery mechanism. It is not a real-time control system. BotOrient does not guarantee specific response times for Robot API requests and is not liable for robot behavior resulting from API downtime, latency, or configuration errors.
BotOrient and its underlying technology, design, and branding are owned by Onae Group and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of BotOrient's intellectual property to you.
You retain ownership of all data you provide to BotOrient (business information, floor plans, profile data) and all AI-generated content produced using your inputs. You grant BotOrient a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and serve your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Each party agrees to keep the other's confidential information (including business data, pricing, and technical details shared under these Terms) in strict confidence and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent, except as required by law. This obligation survives termination of your account for two years.
BOTORIENT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOTORIENT AND ONAE GROUP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF BOTORIENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF DAMAGES — IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BotOrient, Onae Group, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or the deployment or operation of robots using BotOrient-generated configuration.
You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service.
Upon termination, your right to use BotOrient ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days following termination to allow for reactivation, after which it will be permanently deleted unless otherwise required by law or requested by you in writing.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of BotOrient will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved within 60 days, it will be resolved by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
Government customers contracting under a formal procurement agreement may have dispute resolution terms specified in that agreement, which shall take precedence over this section.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of BotOrient after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription before the effective date.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BotOrient regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
